Comp.AI analyzes real-estate listings you submit and returns an AI-generated verdict. This page explains what we collect to do that, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what a scan needs, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t require an account.

What we collect

• What you submit for a scan — listing screenshots or photos you upload, listing links you paste, and property details you type (address, price, beds/baths, and similar). This is the product working as intended: it is sent to our AI provider to produce your verdict.
• An anonymous device identifier — a random ID stored in a cookie on your device. It has no name, email, or account attached. We use it to enforce free-tier and daily limits and to show you your own scan history.
• Scan history — your recent verdicts (up to 25) are stored against that anonymous ID so you can revisit them.
• Usage analytics — we use Meta’s pixel and standard web analytics to understand how people find and use the site, including for measuring our ads.

We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to run a scan. If you contact support, we’ll have whatever you include in your message.

Who processes it

• Anthropic — the AI provider that analyzes your listing and writes the verdict.
• RentCast — licensed property and comparable-sales data, looked up by the property address.
• Vercel & Upstash — hosting and storage infrastructure.
• Stripe — payment processing when you buy scans. Your card details go to Stripe directly; we never see or store them.
• Meta — ad measurement via the Meta pixel.

Each processor receives only what its job requires. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Stripe (on the web) or Apple (in the iOS app). We receive confirmation that a purchase happened and what was bought — never your card number.

Data retention & deletion

Scan history is capped at your 25 most recent scans. Rate-limit counters expire daily. To have your history and anonymous identifier deleted, email us at the address below with the request — or simply clear the site’s cookies, which orphans the data on our side.

Children

Comp.AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we’ll update this page and the date above.
